Eccentric at school
I was once told by my headmaster at school (about 25 years ago) that my hairstyle was 'too eccentric'....and this came from someone with a comb-over who taught Latin, and had named his dog 'Drucus' after the famous Roman general.

A lot of you might know this one - instead of buying sugar, steal it.
No seriously...collect those little sugar packets at cafes, service stations etc. They're absolutely free. If you are really desperate, I'm sure the same logic also applies to salad cream, brown sauce etc etc.

common Northern girl
Watching 'Strictly Come Dancing' is deeply common. What makes it even more common (for those of us that pronounce English correctly) is that ghastly female co-presenter constantly talking about 'cooples', 'joodges', 'resoolts' etc. I bet she went to a comprehensive and not to a boarding school. Why can't she shut her common face?
