# hahaha
precisely. I think the only thing we disagree on is football. We should get married. I can tell that there is a physical element to your attraction to me, but we can have an open relationship when there's football on.

# :D
I have a similar arrangement with the missus at the moment - whenever she wants to watch Vampire Diaries or Twilight or anything else that falls under her catchall heading of "gay vampire shit" (her words) I get a free pass

Next time she's busy flicking the bean to gothy merkin teens swooning about we should go out and have fun...as long as there isn't a match on ;)

# well done... you're like an internet Angela Lansbury
you've uncovered something I posted two days ago on a public forum. I feel you've found my letters and read each one out loud. :'(

I could have spent the time going through your recent posts but I don't think I could handle such concentrated comedy...

# aaaaaaaaaaaaand you're still going...
it's amusing that you're critiquing my humour and intellect, when you've basically repeated the same thing over and over.

I've decided to follow your example and post a OMG TOAP because people have an opinion that I don't follow. lol
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 10:14, archived)
# hey Oscar Wilde, you started this by critiquing mine
I've decided to follow your example by being an obnoxious, unfunny repetitive cunt

I watched One Night in Turin last night and blubbed like a pissed girl.

# haha not seen that
but it represents the first world cup i remember watching. It did not make me feel sad, despite my love for Gazza.

I hope this england team are good enough to achieve such a glorious failure this year :)

Edit: oh, I understand completely, just don't share that particular viewpoint. I'm a bit bicurious regarding england... I enjoy watching them play well and win, but the possibility of a more relevant trophy win than the completely irrelevant 1966 terrifies me, so I tend to be relieved when they get beaten.
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:21, archived)
# and the flip side of that Scottish coin, I fucking hate the England team and I hope they get pumped out
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:26, archived)
# see, I don't mind your lot
and always want them to do well.

As I do with all the home nations.
And Ireland
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:31, archived)
# haha I don't mind your lot either, till they walk onto a pitch ;)
to be honest it's not really the team I hate..it's the hype around them.
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:33, archived)
# I thought you'd approve of that...
given the inevitability of the associated comedown.
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:35, archived)
# see this is how I feel
football's absolutely brilliant as long as I'm in a park and kicking the ball around with my mates, but as soon as there's any kind of professional element involved it just seems to turn people into arseholes
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:41, archived)
# I think a lot of England fans feel the same way
I know I do
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:42, archived)
# exactly, that's what i was trying to explain above
i like most of the players, I just don't like anything else about the england national team.
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:44, archived)
# The parallels were quite striking between then and now
A press who claim to want us to do well, yet scupper us at every opportunity;
An obscenely talented youngster with a temperament problem;
Several players at the last chance saloon;
Formation uncertanties;
And heavy handed local police spoiling for a fight.

It's well worth a watch, and the book is better.
Cracking soundtrack too, and Gary Oldman narrates it, which makes the hooligan scenes a little difficult to watch, as he will alwys be Bex to me

# i just hope we get some robot danceing from peter crouch
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 9:31, archived)
