# I passed a stalll earlier today.....
Selling.... Kangaroo, water Buffalow, wild Boar and ostritch burgers...
If they'ed have had this on the menu I might have been tempted..!!
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 19:57, archived)
# Not that this applies to what you've listed
but curious as to what else they might have had:

# Yes,I saw that the other day.... pretty horrible...
I think what I saw was pretty Kosha...
It's world food day or something like that in Nottingham market square....
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:08, archived)
# Sounds all is dandy then
Everything you listed breed like rabbits, so it's not a problem. It's just when other things pop up on the menu, we need to be careful :)

# Yes I couldn't agree with you more about the bush meat.....
As for all the things on the burger menu.... I think you could proberbly source all of them locally bread within a 30 mile radius of any major city in the UK...
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:29, archived)
# Absolutely
and amazingly, as a meat eater, I have yet to try ostrich. These days their farms are all over the place!
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:33, archived)
# we got a great little place down here
sells all kinds o meat!
used to be a US bar... but tis gone all native now :D
+ that VVV

# Ostrich ......Is not really the best in my opinion.....
As for farms...... there is one about 15 miles from where I live.... They've got about 50 Alpacas .....that they keep for the wool... and to stumble accross that without warning and seeing 50 or so of them running around the field was just an absolute thrill.... they really are so playful and funny to watch.. it was a joy....

# Be interesting if anyone calls the human race to judgement
"So, you were given a great big planet with billions of diverse lifeforms and a self-renewing ecosystem. How did you get on?"
"We ate the edible bits and crapped on the rest."
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:17, archived)
# Lob in the fact we have largely conquered the threats to human population levels, such as disease
and we are suddenly faced with a population crisis naturally having an effect on the environment around us
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:24, archived)
# So when do you think things will get critical even for the Western world?
Sooner or later, someone will have to make some very unpopular decisions regarding population control...
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:27, archived)
# We'll be out invading other planets by then.
(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:32, archived)
# Yep, we all will need to make some rather dramatic decisions sort of like a decade or two ago
To be blunt, the automatic right to reproduce has to questioned. Sounds like deeply fascist, 'big brother' concept, but what other choice is there? We have simply run out of space on this little lifeboat

(, Sat 3 Jul 2010, 20:46, archived)

Tribs asked a question, so I typed a reply

I'm sorry if it didn't involve Unicorns prancing through woodland, or a happy socialist utopia
