Left the flat for the ten-minute walk to the tube, during which I got so drenched I may as well have taken a fucking bath in my suit and tie.
Went home and changed.
Got to the tube - severe delays due to laziness and incompetence.
Arrived at work sweating and damp, to a large pile of new work.
To a tee a stereotype of fucking Monday.

You are indeed right. I realise the irony of loving rain and then moaninng when it does so, but this morning was something else - I've rarely known anything like it, and certainly when dressed in a whistle.
