I'm just going to put in a RG windge here:

On Tuesday night one of my guests got her bag nicked from the pub.

Wednesday evening a guy called one of the people on her phone saying that he had it and to call him on her (the mobile was in the bag) number.

When she called he told her that he'd give her her bag for £50.

I called the police (as obviously that was extortion) and as she wasn't from the Uk they said to goto the nearest police station.

When she went the guy said, 'just godown there and give the money.'

I got really pissed and called the police again as basically the guy had said turn up and meet a possible rapist and sod what happens.

I raised merry hell with the police and they set up an undercover group to follow her. He did turn up at Picadilly where he said but then called to say that a taxi driver would turn up at Earls Court and she was to give the guy £50 and she'd get her bag.

The idiot turned up at earls court and got picked up by the undercover police and got completely screwed over as he had about 5 other people's credit cards on him.

What an utter bunch of barstards my local police are! Sending a girl on her own, to a dark alley to pay for her own stuff!

It was a completely differnet police department that went in. The gut at the police station said, 'I'd like to help but I'm going off duty.'
