# The director doesn't seem to be editing the film.
I find this rather worrying. Also, the lack of a trailer, I find this worrying as well. In short, I'm worried.

# The best medium for Dredd
will always be comics. He's just too hardcore a character for Hollywood.

# yeah there was some kerfuffle reported a while ago
I'm cautiously optimistic. It's not going to be the dredd we see in the comics (garish uniform, ridiculously impractical shoulderpads), but fingers crossed it'll be a good ride

# Well it seems to be pretty grungy and gritty
not 100% sold on the costumes but I really hope they haven't tried to make Dredd a hero character part of his uniqueness was his anti-hero, no-nonsense, questionable morality approach - a loose canon with a badge. An evil to fight a bigger evil. If we get dumbed down Hollywood sentiments and sickly morality then it completely defies who and what Judge Dredd is all about. I hope they keep this a fan film rather than aiming for a wider audience - Dredd is nasty, Dredd is the worse thing you can face if you so much as spit chewing gum on the pavement, but he ain't no Robocop holier-than-thou type.
