At first I thought you fucked up with the text ... but came to realise it comes from a much darker, more psychotic place. She's so intensely fucked up about it, she's completely dissociated herself from the foetus ... more "Other" than "Mother" in a yellow wallaper kind of way. Way more sinister than "hey dude, your wife has been unfaithful".
