Well, big bastard, 15 year old as tall as I was, was giving me lip in the corridor in front of all his friends, so I turned around and asked (rather loudly) if they had a problem. He was the centre of it all, so I got up in his face, with a separation distance of millimetres, to which he told me to get away from him. I asked if he had a problem again, and he replied, 'get away from me or i'll fucking slash your throat' which was rather amusing so I told him to go ahead. At which point he pushed me, and I went to get another teacher. The outcome of which is that I won the confrontation since the little shit threatened and attacked me, and is in deep shit. Bwahahaha!

I was chatting to some of the other staff members, and he has a reputation of being difficult, but is apparently a wimp (didn't look it mind). I probably would have won if he attacked me properly.

Depends on prior record. He'll be in on monday, until the issue filters to the head of year (should be monday) but since I don't teach year 11 I don't particularly care. I would have thought that he'd get a suspension. I'll let everyone know when I find out. I must say, i'm rather curious about what he wrote about the incident.

England is different. We can't expel people as easily, and on top of that, another school in the area is obligated to take them on. If the child gets expelled enough, then they'll end up back where they started. :(
