they're cheap and so long as you set everything up they way you want, reliable. doesn't mean they are great, just that I don't have the time to build me own machine.
(I admit that I only use AOL because I haven't worked out how to stop paying them from 4years ago yet .... ;)

like the popularisation of the leyboard or something hit our parents, there'll be some mad new tech will come along when I'm 50 that I'll just deliberately pretend not to understand, safe in the knowledge that I'm meant to fall behind and secretly enjoy annoying the young 'uns.
