I tried magic wand

but the ball is lots of different shades of yellow, is there a way of getting it to select all yellow?

you can dikkle about with the selection criteria

just keep fiddling till you go blind...

When you select magic wand

on the top bar there's a numerical value between 1 and 100. I think it's called "tolerance". Play with that and you should get a result. the two backgrounds are far enough away from yellow for it to work.

magic wand

tolerance 100, click in yellow circle = perfect cut = several hours work reduced to several minutes. b3tans am the best!

You can then use alt+lassoo to remove any bits selected you don't want

Select colour range works well

just keep adding to the range by holding shift down
