T/J: My mum (a labour supporter) commented earlier about how during the last election she thought Labour stood little chance of getting in, based on what she read in the paper... I had to point out that reading the Daily Mail is probably not the best way of getting an unbiased view of a particular party's chances...

I heard someone make a very very offensive comment in a motorway service station yesterday
and none of the others at the table even batted an eyelid. Then I noticed that 2 of them were reading the mail, and it all made sense.
