# yeah, it's a french designer label that everyone seems to think is really cool
you don't see it near as much in America as you do in Europe though. It's really nothing that could be defined as being part of the American culture.

edit: OOOH apparently you're from southern california, LA?

If so, that explains it.

# I've just seen a bunch of accessories

in that monogram multicolore.

It's fucking hideous!

*not a dedicated follower of fashion*

..plus I thought part of the joke is, it's a French designer?

# yeah, I've never liked Louis Vuitton
The whole ugly muted browns thing and wearing blatant labels doesn't do it for me.

# I saw a car recently
which was light blue and the bonnett was white and covered in the LV pattern - CHAAAAVVVV!

# I think I'd vomit on it.

# Yup, you got it
Not only So. Cal. but area classified as the "OC" as well (horrors!)

Every time I go to the open-air market there's about 50-gazillion knock-offs of those purses; even legitimate purse companies have thier own versions of that pattern.

# yuck
I don't get it. It's not even attractive. The matching shit colored luggage never really appealled to me.
