If you like doorstopper booksthe Night's Dawn trilogy by Peter F Hamilton is a great rip-roaring page-turning hi-technology space-operatic gory swashbuckling lusty enjoyable read. If you like that sort of thing. And two of the books in the trilogy weigh more thatn my head...AND it's not in Douglas Adams W I D E S P A C I N G, so you get more bang for your buck. It's not as funy, but it quite gripping.
