# Yes. It is rubbish.
Its such a shame because the radio series was great. I think it just doesn't translate to TV.

Same goes for 'People like us'. Hilarious on Radio 4, not so great on BBC 2.

# It was much funnier on the radio than on telly
but I didn't find the tv show all that great.

# the radio show had a certain authentic Radio 4 Documentary
feel about it, which the TV show lacked.

# And it also had
Brian Perkins* saying "Bo Selecta!" and being all "street" which was just hilarious.

*a well known Radio 4 announcer to all you people who don't listen to Radio 4 (shame on you, they have great comedy shows, you're really missing out you know! "I'm sorry I havent a clue" is just the funniest thing since sliced bread.)

# Indeed I miss the Wilderbeast Years and Milton Jones
both of which were stunning, though I have some of the episodes on mp3, no where near enough.
