# To be honest the political map loos a lot like that anyway.
Most of Britain is blue, but the little urban bits are red.

I am not clear on what makes anyone think that the red bits are left wing any more though?

# Well...
... there is also a lot more yellow in Scotland (Both Lib Dems, SNP and other left wing Scots specific parties)

Oddly enough I am a leftie who has just moved up to Scotland. Don't particularly like being told to bugger off though, I was under the impression we still had a democracy.

# The proportion of Labour MPs
is far greater in Scotland and Wales.

Furthermore, the comedically über-socialist party, the Scottish Socialist Party exist in Scotland (Become independent, Tax the rich 80%, and up dole for everyone else-- and taxpayers all run away to England-- oops!) exist, and I believe there are counterparts in Wales too.

I'm 'right of centre' politcally because I know left wing ideals are braindead and don't work. You just proved with what you just said.

# All I'm saying is voting Labour in scotland
seems not very adventurous or likely to change anything. Like social justice, etc. Amazingly, David Cameron's started talking about this stuff. It just doesn't seem right. or believable.

Right. Off to give money to a large corporation-- Tescos.

Growing up there, belonging to neither side, it was always IRA/ PROVOs graffiti in Coatbridge, and UVF and FTP in Airdrie.

I've never heard of a UVF protocol though...
