You do have to wonder where they get their
statistics about how many teens get what STDs when. Especially as they say just after it that 80% of teens with STDs show no symptoms, don't get checked out and don't get diagnosed.

The fun thing with the Silver Ring Thing scheme is that when the children do have sex (as most of them do, in the end) they're completely unprepared for it. This is why Texas has a near third world levels of unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
