I well remember the "Night of the Guitars" tour where he was followed on stage by Leslie West from Mountain. After half an hour of Howe's twiddly-widdly-woo-wooo, West stood silent for a moment then struck this fucking huge power chord which had the first four rows of the audience falling over backwards. It was ace.
