I was accosted by a couple of Mormon missionaries in the street the other week,presumably because they had nothing better to do.
Rough synopsis:
'Hello, have you considered Religion'
'You're wasting your time, I'm an atheist'
'But... but why?'
'Because god doesn't exist'
It's not the most witty response I've ever given, but it appeared to throw one completely off his stride. His accomplice quickly led him away, perhaps in case I started dredging up arguments about teapots orbiting Mars or somesuch.
