# There's a commercial with a soft drink or something
That turns normal goths into happy goths, who go to the beach and play on thr black donkeys and surf on their coffin shaped boards, all the while with their black lipstick arranged into a big smile like a clown.

It's absolutely wonderful, if only to upset the goths.

And I don't think any of them would be upset by that ad. Infact they're pretty much like that anyway.

They're not as miserable as you might think!

# I always used to be very sad indeed
but of late I've cheered up quite a bit.

Could be something to do with the lady in my profile of course :)

Unfortunately all those years of depression have left their mark, but I'm kind of getting past that now.

(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 13:15, archived)
# he's got a fair few piercings too,
my favoutire of his have to be the horns, little metal plates embedded in his forhead, so he can screw a multitude of different horn type things into them. tres cool.
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 13:24, archived)
# Where is your sexy lady anyway?
She promised me a sad vole.
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:55, archived)
# She's feeling rough recently
due to
a) being fed milk over the weekend (lactose intolerant)
b) hardly getting any sleep last night

She will be up and about soon :)
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:57, archived)
# Oh
Please send her my warmest regards and sincere wishes for a speedy recovery.

You should probably buy her some soya-based frozen dessert. :)
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 13:01, archived)

# I do the dance
And sing along.

We may or may not have covered it in my old band. And I may or may not love that song to pieces.
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:46, archived)
# Was your old band a massively heavy post-rock-ish thing too?
Because that would have been ace.
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:50, archived)
# It didn't really have a genre
It was a more 'let's fuck about in front of people' band
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 13:08, archived)
# Now that's my kind of band.
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 13:13, archived)
# :D

# Ning Cap'n!
How did yesterday go?
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:42, archived)
# Alright me old mucker?
All good, all good. I just want it to be the end of July now so I can get in there and decorate. We're going to take it back- heritage paints etc- a sage green on the living room walls with white dado raid, covices and ceiling/ceiling rose, and (unless it's parquee- I didn't spell that right but never mind) sand down the floorboards and seal them.

Thank fuck my mate used to be a set painter, I'm not getting on a ladder for anyone.

How's you? The lady?
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:45, archived)
# sounds like a very good plan
you going to have period furniture and whatnot?

or go for the whole juxtapostion thing and have modern minimalist stuff
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:47, archived)
# I think comfy's the name of the game there
As nice as those little sofas with the sort of carved bits are, they're not so good for lounging around on.

Period with a bit of sensibility, I think. I like those sofas you have to struggle to get out if.

(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:53, archived)
# Sounds very nice.
The lady and I are fine - we're currently doing decorating things too, involving mounting a katana on the living room wall bordered by two metre-long wall scrolls, two huge candle sconces and a wall fan. Then a big Kanji rug on the floor when we can afford it.
My arm's still sunburnt though.
(, Tue 12 Jun 2007, 12:48, archived)
# Blooody hell

I might do something on the wall with my sai, we'll have to see.
