Alright me old mucker?
All good, all good. I just want it to be the end of July now so I can get in there and decorate. We're going to take it back- heritage paints etc- a sage green on the living room walls with white dado raid, covices and ceiling/ceiling rose, and (unless it's parquee- I didn't spell that right but never mind) sand down the floorboards and seal them.
Thank fuck my mate used to be a set painter, I'm not getting on a ladder for anyone.
How's you? The lady?

I think comfy's the name of the game there
As nice as those little sofas with the sort of carved bits are, they're not so good for lounging around on.
Period with a bit of sensibility, I think. I like those sofas you have to struggle to get out if.

The lady and I are fine - we're currently doing decorating things too, involving mounting a katana on the living room wall bordered by two metre-long wall scrolls, two huge candle sconces and a wall fan. Then a big Kanji rug on the floor when we can afford it.
My arm's still sunburnt though.
