as the plane was coming into land she asked me "I can't see out, are we nearly touched down?".

A few seconds later the pilot made a less-than gentle tooth-rattling slam down onto the tarmac and we bounced a bit, landed again and started to roll along the runway.

I gave it about ten seconds before tapping her shoulder and saying "any second now". She did a little bit of wee with the laughing.


*this wasn't the entire point of going to NYC, it was coincidental
