I tend to find the one I watch first is the one I prefer,
whichever that may be. Some sort of indelible link between character and voice occurs.

They are still ACE dubbed.
Just not as ace as they are with Japanese.
It adds to the crazy and surreal vibe, I find.

akira is SO much better dubbed than subbed, and from that point on i have never bothered with subbed cartoons
