oh god! that brings back memories:I 'inherited' my nan's husband's (does that make him my step-granddad or my grand-step-dad, or what?) electric razor when I was a young Raff. It was shite. Having never used anything else, though, I assumed all razors were designed to rip the hairs from your face with violence, rather than actually cut them with sharpness.

that was the only elecric shaver I ever triedso I've no idea how good modern ones are. I like wet shaving anyway, so they can keep their damnable new-fangled contraptions.
