# Pfft!

# haha!
I've installed an addon for managing tabs in FF3 and just found out that in the right click menu there is an option to set the page to 'reload every xx seconds' ( or minutes )
No more F5 or right click reload for me. Next, the world!
( turns out it's a pain in the arse if you don't stop it running whilst you are typing )

# Pray what is this addon called?
Sounds useful..

# grr opera had auto refresh options over 5 years ago
firefox has everyone memorized with its jazzy styles. *shakes fist*

# Yes, and I used to
use opera longer ago than that. The fact is that Firefox has taken all the functionality of Opera and other browsers and improved on them in my opinion.
I don't do browser snobbery and I'm still happy to use IE. I simply use FF because it now has more functionality and capability than any other single package.

# Haha, that could become rather annoying during writing big emails

# It is tab specific.
do you can have b3ta refreshing every 30 seconds, The BBC news page every 30 minutes and a static page not at all. Although you can set it to refresh all tabs. It's useful for here as it works whilst you are off browsing elsewhere.

# That sounds like effort to set it up for pages
Its simple enough to click refresh or press F5
(, Sat 15 Nov 2008, 15:33, archived)
# just right click anywhere on the page and click a time option to enable. 2 clicks on and 2 clicks off.
Actually there is far more functionality in the tab management, I just thought it was a nice extra I did not know about.

# I was thinking that would be a pain also :D
Good for if you are merely lurking though....

# it's very easy to disable whilst you type
just right click and click on or off.

# Ah I see.
Got a link to the addon?

# Opera has that built in
Because it is better.
(, Sat 15 Nov 2008, 15:34, archived)
# Yeah better. Of course.
That's purely personal and I've not found Opera to be anywhere near as functional as Firefox for over 18 months.
(, Sat 15 Nov 2008, 15:38, archived)
# :)
I know it's personal; I'm ribbing.

perhaps you could familiarise yourself with the FAQ or failing that just have the decency to tell people you think they make worthless shit so you deserve to post yours again.
