# They have now.
They thought leaving meant having a shower, a spot of breakfast even though they missed check out by two hours and people had arrived to move into their room then packing up and leaving.

# haha, nevermind
A question Mr ghost, how much do hostels usually cost per night/week? Since you run one and all :)
(, Sun 15 Mar 2009, 12:28, archived)
# You charge?
Fuck that's where I've been going wrong.

In London it can bee anything from £8 to £25-30 per night.
This depends on what the hostel offers, how many in a dorm and if the hostel is cheap coz it's a shit hole. The YHA ones charge about £25-30 a night for just a dorm but they have their own advertising departments etc and can afford to rip people off.
Weekly you're looking between £60-100 again depending what's on offer.

EDIT: I like to think we offer good value for money as we have max of 4 to a room, free wiffy, brekkie and a garden/BBQ area from £15pn off season.

# Ok ta :)
Im thinking of possibly seeing how much of my loan I can save then doing a bit of europe once I graduate.
So I'll probably be able to afford a week maybe two then :P

# Europe is cheaper but the Euro is very strong at the mo.
I don't know how long you want to go for but it's worth getting a eurorail pass that'll let you travel freely round Europe.
The best place to look for hostels is www.hostelbookers.com

# CHeap flights can be a con
They probably don't include tax and most likely don't include baggage. They also put you don't in some middle of nowhere airport that costs you thirty quid to get to the destination city when you touch down at 3am.
(, Sun 15 Mar 2009, 12:49, archived)
# Yes, prices for flying never includes the £30quid tax each way
(, Sun 15 Mar 2009, 12:50, archived)
# :D
£10 flight to somewhere

£90 airport/entry fees

£100/item luggage supplement

£350 flight back :D

+ other fees :)
