If they did that
And not this, then you couldn't stream live video from the inside of your fridge across the internet. You would have to actually be there to see, who knows what goes on when you are at work?

Because to observe the light going out would affect the outcome of the test
it is Schrödinger's Fridge you know.
Schrödinger would spend many days staring at the fridge door thinking "Do I have beer or is the beer all gone, if I open the door one of the other will be true so I won't open the door for fear that there is no beer."
