though, watching some old top gears (well, 2-3 years old) on dave, it scared me a little that they have gone from serious, and quite frankly dull car nuts to wacky presenters full of jokes and japes.

Will it go further? Can we expect to see jeremy clarksons funhouse or james may's house party once top gear's current format reaches critical mass?
