I've just eaten a mini-battenberg cake.

# I spent my birthday in December on jury service.
The jury bought me battenburg with a little candle in it. Which was nom.

I had to share it, though, which was boo.

I had to do three weeks. There was a guy doing it who was self-employed, and he was pulling his hair out at the money he was losing, poor guy.

We all wimped out of it due to holidays/ letter from mum etc

but there was this one guy who was also self employed- waiting on a big job offer who was really pissed off at it all

i never saw him after the second day...
