That is not an invitation for anyone else to try it.

Anyway, I am jacking this thread.

I have spent the evening searching t'interwebs for a recipe to make a really hot chilli sauce but hardly any of the ones I found have reviews, so don't really know if they are any good. Has anyone ever made their own really hot chilli sauce that would care to share the recipe? :)

# I considered that
I had a look at www.scorchio.co.uk after it was linked on here the other week.

# i would suggest
a combination of finely chopped bird's eye chillis, scotch bonnets, half a teaspoon of paprika, a pinch of chinese fivespice and a teaspoon of lime juice, mixed with about 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and left for about 2 hours to mix well.
that should put hairs on your eyeballs.

# I got some Franks Hot Cayenne Pepper sauce from Tescos

# in that case, avoid jalapenos
they have a decent heat, but they tend to have a bitter aftertaste and burn more coming out than going in. habaneros are really good and hot, but some people can have a bit of a dicky tum after eating them.
