This is a normal post They will either be terrible or amazing
I suspect there will be no middle ground. Either way I'm happy.

This is a normal post Seen Ian Brown live...
...he spent 5 minutes sounding like a drowning sheep, tried to pick a fight with a guy who was being carried over the safety fence because he was being crushed, called the audience cunts then stormed off.
Personally i'd ebay the fuck out of the tickets.

This is a normal post I used to live in earshot of Rusholme and therefore Platt Fields Park...
Over the course of ten years I got to listen to Ian's dulcit tones wafting through the air like a shitty, tone-deaf berk many times. I can't say time has been kind to his range. Or quality of tone.

It reminds me of the time I had a ticket to see The Libertines at Manchester Academy when they were due to split up for the first time. I was offered £100 for it outside, having bought it for £12. No, I thought, there must be something in this gig that makes people want to spend so much money.

Worst gig I've ever seen. I left before the end.

This is a normal post I saw them play the Bristol Bierkeller, before the first LP.
To say Ian Brown was 'a smidge flat' would be hugely generous.

This is a normal post I saw them on the South Parade Pier, Southsea, 20 odd years ago.
Which means I saw them first. First. FIRST FIRST FIRST. Edit: Probably.
Hope you have fun seeing them too.
