One of the thugs was caught red-handed in may 2012 during a computer shop burglary. After being released, he came back to the shop with another thug, threatening staff with total demolition of the shop.
Then... the store owner comes from the back office.

Not possible in the UK
In the UK the shop owner would be prosecuted for assault, because the case would be easy to make with the CCTV footage.
I know someone whose life has been ruined by the criminal record that they got from doing exactly this to two thugs.
Got to love this country.
