The wide-view shot of the city as the spire comes down was quite beauteous in HD.

The animation is fantastic. As good as what you see in Hollywood today.
The story, however, is pure film student fodder. Just a sequence of events driven by technique. Might as well be a cut scene from a video game. I'm sure with some decent writers behind him he'll be class A talent though.

From what I remember, it required an awful lot of scanning, and the vide was reconstructed from... the source video - so you would need to have a dashcam on your head for someone to reconstruct what you saw from your head.
That might be broadly simplistic, read up yourselves - but this is a fucking excellent way to make a music video.
