Scuba diving.The first time I went scuba diving was beautiful. Course, I've only done it twice, ever, but I was fortunate enough to do it both times in Ibiza, in crystal clear water.
After ten minutes of flying above gorgeous scenery, through shoals of fish, past a friendly octopus (I swear he waved at me), I got back onto the dive boat feeling absolutely euphoric. The world was a beautful place and I've rarely felt so intensely happy.
The diving instructor had a camera with him, so he snapped another couple of photos as I climbed back into the boat, letting me remember this happy time for ever.
You'll never see a photo of a bigger gurning, grinning idiot. I looked a right twunt!
Ah well, twas definitely worth it. And one day I hope I can afford to repeat it.
