I kid you not
I once worked with a guy who used "touchbase" as a verb e.g. "Yeah, I touchbased with him on that last week".

Mind you, this was the same guy who thought that our biggest supplier's promotional vehicle - their Drive Brand - was called their "Dry Band", so I'm not sure this represents any kind of trend (except his own trend towards fuckwittery)
