Dago?
First time I hear it.
You'd be a guiri in Spain. Used to be something good, but these days we're a bit fed up with some of them.

"Dago" is a corruption of "Diego"
and, by extension, is a pejorative term for anyone Iberian...

I had never heard it. It doesn't sound bad at all. I have quite a lot of good friends called Diego, so it brings good memories.
I have no idea where the word "guiri" comes from.
