I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

I have a real dislike of the snare sound on st angersounds like he is hitting a saucepan. don't care what anyone else thinks about it. Those songs are the worst lyrically with regard to going on about the alcoholism and stuff.
To be honest I don't listen to Metallica for the quality or meaning of the lyrics. As a guitarist I like what they do with their guitar parts, the staccato breaks on a lot of stuff on Death Magnetic are excellent examples of good metal song crafting.
