Tin Foil Hats
a myth spread by the huge Tin Foil industry. Tin foil will NOT block the mind rays.
Lead will but there is a solid market for lead and there is no need to create artificial demand.

Also, church roofs? Lead.

Does that mean that lead blocks prayers from going to heaven?
We should be told. 2,000 years of collective effort, wasted.

So does that mean God can't read my thoughts if I enshroud my head in lead?
What about wanking - can he see me knock out a quick 1 if I wear a lead apron?

Church roofs are not made of lead.
If they were, they'd collapse.

They have lead around the sides of the roof pitches, which are covered with either tiles, or slates. There are also lead lined valleys at the bottom of the pitches - these are what the thieves go for, as they are large pieces of lead and can just be pulled up and thrown over the side.

90% of the roof area is not lead.

Technically speaking
A bowl like object made from a metalic substance is most commonly used to boost electrical signals not surpress it.
