A friend of mine was brought up in the sticks, where there was a massive bacon factory, one of the biggest in the country, massive local employer.For her kid sister's school project, the class adopted a piglet at a local farm, learnt all about it, played with it and watched it grow into a big fat fcuker. They waved it off to the slaughterhouse, had a tour of the factory and went home with bacon and sausages. As vegi at the time, I was appalled, but being cured now, think it's at least being honest.
