This is a question Eccentrics

We all know someone who's a little bit strange - Mum's UFO abduction secret, or the mad Uncle who isn't allowed within 400 yards of Noel Edmonds.

Tell us about your family eccentrics, or just those you've met but don't think you're related to.

The Sutton Wizard
If you happen to be in Sutton (London) at all then keep an eye out for the old man dressed as a wizard. He keeps a cat on his shoulder and an old collie dog follows him. He also carries a wizard's staff and just walks around like he isn't eccentric at all...

Apparently there used to be an old man who walked around dressed as Jesus and gave money and sweets to people. I don't know if it's the same old man...

Thanks!
I guess that shows how much attention I paid to him when I saw him the last day. Am glad they have been reunited.

Someone I used to work with lost the plot and became a wizard
He would dress like one and brandish a staff, might be the same bloke

I see him quite often
But it always seems to be when the missus hasn't got her camera with her. She's getting more and more annoyed that she can't get a photo of him (she's a bit good, as is her camera).

The other guy you mentioned was a chap called andrew, a local mental patient. Pretty much harmless, except to himself. Last time I saw him was just before he was sectioned again for branding himself on the forehead with a crucifix.

It must be one of his spells
Cos I always see him when I don't have a camera on me as well...

The Sutton Wizard
I was considering posting about him, I've seen him on several occasions. I assumed he was just a street entertainer or something when I saw him at the shops, but then I passed him in a residential area, which was just a bit scary.

The Wonderful Journey of Zagan
Just did a bit of research on him. Turns out he has a Facebook group and everything. Recently he lost his cat, Zagan (as documented in this article www.croydonguardian.co.uk/news/3591278.Wizard_man_missing_cat/) and but his since found him again. www.croydonguardian.co.uk/news/3605573.Wizard_man_s_cat_is_back/

You have to love a Wizard.
This type of person makes everyone's life a little brighter. Glad he found his puddy again. Gandalf must be happy too.
