To clarify...
I was seriously reading this article as I live in Leeds and am female. It's a horrible thing to happen to anyone and it wasn't the attack that made me laugh.

However sometimes, as many of you will hopefully be able to understand, when your mind is in serious mode, something ever so slightly comedic might happen and it surprises you into laughter.

Serious, sad, worried, BANANA!

Don't worry!
I have blundered into a wasp's nest of moral outrage on this thread too. Ignore the vitriol and soak up the empathy. Nobody can possibly make any meaningful analysis of you as a human-being from your story.
