A lot of people seem to confuse "laugh with" (oh, that's witty, a ha ha ha) with "laugh at" (you stupid prick, snirk snirk snirk)
"We need the joy", Rob admitted. Where's the joy in being an obnoxious bellend chuckling at another's misfortune?

It seems to me
that a lot of the people on here are somewhat embittered by their lives and the only way they can enjoy themselves is by sneering at someone else having a bad time. That or they're halfway through a humiliating mental collapse like that Marshmallow chap.

I do hope he's OK.

Hopefully Todd was able to talk him out of doing anything stupid.

If you're out there Albert - let us know you're alright will you?

Yeah, particularly if what makes you laugh is other people dying

Nothing funnier than a tragic loss of life is there?

I'm sure his grieving family are fucking pissing themselves.

Erm ... shurely shome mishtake?
You encourage others to kill themselves on a regular basis as part of your being incredibly lol, but lolling at others dying ... isn't funny and you're trying to take the moral highground?

Explain yourself, man!
(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 10:28, closed)
There are no circumstances under which the sad death of a fellow human being can be a legitimate source of mirth.
You, as a top level Goth, must surely understand this?
(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 10:33, closed)
You will learn that as long as it's happening to someone you don't know, it's always funny.

I thought the hateful and completely made up lie story posted by poor old Albert Marshmallow
in the runup to his total mental collapse yesterday wasn't in the least bit funny. In fact, had he not simply stolen it from the letters page of Zoo magazine in a pathetic display of plagiarism I would have found it as distasteful as his 'I creepily hack girls' email accounts' story.
(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 10:47, closed)
I too didn't find it funny, as it did appear to be reveling in the humiliation of another.
However, as you alluded to, the Zoo-style writing and content and implied plagiarism also led me to question whether or not it was actually true, and as such I simply wrote it off as another B3ta weirdo being, well - another B3ta weirdo.

But then, I can never be one to try to occupy the moral highground - not after what I did.

I think the world would be a better place
if people like Albert Marshmallow took a moment to think about what they were doing, before disappearing into the black well of insanity in full view of an internet messageboard.

Disappearing into the black well of insanity in full view of an internet messageboard?
I don't think you fully grasp the concept of 'in full view'.

But what you definitely do have a grasp of is re-jigging Christmas carols to hilarious effect!

I reckon the kid 3rd from the right, 2nd row back is clearly singing 'PATELS!' instead of 'bells'. Is it you?

Albert.
I had hoped that in the cold light of day, newly-sober and with a good night's sleep under your belt that you might have calmed down, but no, it seems not.

I'm going to be quite firm with you now: do please stop this. People are worried. Children are crying. Women are panic-strickenly changing their passwords. ENOUGH.

He went and edited the post where he suggested that to me, because as well as being particularly thick
he also lacks the courage of his convictions and is a weaselly coward of a man.
(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 11:25, closed)
Please kill yourself.
Thanks x

That's better
You weren't quite coming across as an angry mental before
(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 11:36, closed)
Oh come on, I said please.

(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 11:45, closed)

I suggest you don't look at The Darwin Awards, or any number of strange/unusual deaths books, various /board posts (including the FP'd 'Fiddler on the Roof' - a reference to Rod Hull's demise), /talk posts (f**** d*** b***, anyone?), /qotw trolling about deceased parents, or even the "Stupid Deaths" sketch from hit CBBC show "Horrible Histories". They'll make one so sensitive, compassionate, and empathetic as yourself very, very upset indeed.

Probably best avoid "Weekend at Bernie's", too, just to be safe. Also, it's shit.
(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 11:02, closed)
It's this kind of vicious unpleasantness that is KILLING QOTW.

(, Fri 7 Dec 2012, 12:32, closed)
I wish it would hurry up.
