Happy Saturday.
I went out last night. Dramalols all round, slept on a sofa, woke up at 8am with a conference call and a migration starting at 8:30. Racing in, head pounding, to sit at my desk unshowered and in last night's clothes, absolutely minging. Only to have a firewall problem that's put the job back by an hour.

I am going home for a much needed set of morning ablutions. I have, however, had the opportunity for a sausage sandwich and a mug of tea.

Went out and got hammered
To celebrate my new job and also the last day for Lauren who my brother's girlfriend works with.

Went to a couple of pubs, the last one had a DJ several people knew who played 70s, 80s and 90s stuff all night, all requests. Excellent night. Staggered home with a battered sausage and two scallops, drank a pint of water and failed to get online poker working (fortunately). This morning I have signed and posted my new contract and had a full english breakfast.

I just saw my favorite big-dog breed ! He was the most georgous dog I've seen in a long time. absolutly massive.

I bought some sweets form the market just now, one of the packets was strawberry laces, the thick kind.
But get this right, they're not hollo ! I can't use them as straws. They're only good for recreating that "Lady and the tramp" film. And making rope by brading them.

I've come to the conclusion that sweets are only good with nastalgure, thats why everyone's favorite sweets are the ones that are about when they were kids.

I went to bed at three, then got woken up again at seven.
Eventually I had to go back to bed for another three hours, so my day didn't actually start till lunchtime.

Then I made teh stupid mistake of trying to do the shopping on a Saturday afternoon in Morrisons. Fucking hell. I was ready to smack somebody by the time I left. Bloody people. Bloody crowds. I hate crowded places.
