3 good and 3 bad:
Good: new job, higher pay
Good: got confirmation today that I will be getting the flat I wanted which is a load off my mind
Good: it's less than 5 minutes from Needoos

Bad: moving away from the area I've lived in my whole life
Bad: haven't actually done anything constructive about moving yet
Bad: something Gonz said makes me think i'm going to be stabbed and burgled constantly

Was the thing Gonz said "so you're moving to London"?

I can't remember exactly
Something about it being an alright area but not for living in

Gonz is a poof.
I've got much more shit in Winchester than I ever have in London.

I shall tell potential criminals I know you
That'll send them packing.

I always found it mildly odd that I was jumped in one of the nicest roads in Ormskirk, yet could walk around the roughtest estates of Skem without an issue

You're making those places up.

The fact that there are 'nice' and 'rough' areas?
Or the towns themselves?

People never believe me when I say I felt perfectly safe wandering round Glasgow at there in the morning, alone
But I won't go into weston after dark. It's full of mentals.

In rougher areas people are sometimes more wary
because they don't know who they're potentially fucking with.

Nope, it's from 'FILM'!

(, Thu 12 Apr 2012, 11:55, Reply)
it was pretty dire
I'd actually read a couple of the original stories from the 70s in some old horror magazines so I may be biased.
