I'm sad. I started watching a really good show
and the bloody yanks have cancelled it already. The first season ended on a downer, too. I hate it when they do that.

What show?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:22, Reply)
The Finder

It was excellent, wasn't it?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:23, Reply)
I really enjoyed it, yeah.
I didn't find out they'd cancelled it until after I watched the first season finale. I hate getting all excitable over a second series and having that happen.

A friend of mine told me just after they'd announced it, I was gutted.

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:26, Reply)
Have you watched it all?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:31, Reply)
Yep, seems shit to end it on a cliffhanger.

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:31, Reply)
"Everybody's fucked"
The End.

Good end of season cliffhanger, shitty final episode.

These shows get morea nd more contrived
"An Iraq war vet suffers a brain injury that triggers the ability to see connections between seemingly unrelated events, objects or people. "
(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:24, Reply)
Sounds ridiculous, as do most shows nowadays
But it was very good, I thought.
(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:25, Reply)
It was actually pretty good.
There was a good range of sub-plots, good characterisation etc. that blurb does make it seem pretty contrived but how he got the ability to do what he does is only mentioned off-handedly a couple of times in comparison to how often they mention it being a worrying compulsion.

There are so many shows these days with some "genius" at the centre, you takes the vaguest of clues and works out a complicated crime
it's stupid
(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:32, Reply)
He goes apeshit at the end
and murders a bunch of people. In self-defence, admittedly*, but it was still awesome.

*arguably
(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:33, Reply)
Ah I saw that
His voice went all wierd at the end.... (Ahem)

He went a bit Bronchophony Kroney

I hope you're all murdered in your sleep

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:43, Reply)
Too much minestrone?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:55, Reply)
what was it?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:22, Reply)
A spin off of Bones

Far better, funnier, etc

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:31, Reply)
Do you watch Dexter?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:49, Reply)
Yep! I tend not to watch stuff on the telly
so I'll download and watch entire seasons at a time. I was getting a bit bored of Dexter but the last season was excellent.
(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:50, Reply)
Have you seen the preview for the new series yet?

(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 11:53, Reply)
