The coalition is 100% focused on the deficit.There is absolutly no way they'll spend millions of pounds on sport purely to cash in on the good mood the olympics has caused. No way!

Lets be honest. Sport is not going to save our economy.Gold medals, or prize money isn't going to take us out of recesion.
It would be short sighted, popularist and specious to even consider changing policy because of a once in four years event.
This is why our Government won't do it.
