The problem with contract workis that they are entirely within their rights to tell you for 11 months out of 12 that your contract will almost certainly be renewed and then shit on you from a great and splattery height 30 days before your original expiry date by saying that actually they don't need you for another year after all, thanks very much for all the hard work, cheerybye. This may yet happen to me before Christmas.
