Bit over priced

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:40, Reply)
It's in the "if you have to ask, you can't afford" category

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:40, Reply)
I like how the Google map marker is just a red balloon on a patch of green.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:45, Reply)
I'd love to be able to buy that for you, Battered.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:48, Reply)
Prove it.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:01, Reply)
Allow me to qualify this statement.
If I could afford to toss away that sort of money on some Internet random, then I would surely be doing alright for myself.

Let me have a dig around behind the sofa cushions
I could probably raise it if you're not too proud to pay in copper.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:50, Reply)
I'll take enough of any metal that covers the cost. Thanks.

The Eiffel tower?

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:53, Reply)
Not sure that would be enough, better throw in the Blackpool Tower as well, just to be on the safe side & to tip the Estate Agent.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:58, Reply)
Oh what the hell, give 'em Blackpool
We don't need a Fylde coast.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:00, Reply)
I can't see how this is raising his bid much.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:06, Reply)
No, it's not the sort of button that would buy you a banana republic
Sorry.

Why don't you try to buy a volcano island, like in James Bond films?

They've got monorails and uniformed pygmies.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:12, Reply)
WHAT? No offers yet? You miserable tightarsed bunch of cunts.
I was going to buy my own yacht to get there, you wouldn't have to cough off up that: www.jameslist.com/yachts/trinity_yachts/carpe-diem/for-sale-267531
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:52, Reply)
It worries me that the yacht is bigger than Manchester

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:53, Reply)
I saw a massive yacht moored up in Monte Carlo a few years ago.
It had its own helipad. Very impressive. Wish I could remember the name of it.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:55, Reply)
There's quite a few of them around the south of France, Tunisa etc. i have seen one with a matching coloured 911 drive out of the end of it in Porto Banus. Bonkers.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 21:57, Reply)
Not quite in the same league,
but the huge motor home that was featured on Top Gear a few years ago, that had the sports car that slid out of a side panel was pretty impressive.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:03, Reply)
I remember that; very smart.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:06, Reply)
Just a bit.

Looks like it is all golf buggies on the island.
And sea plane seems to be the best way to get there, so I'd leave the yacht in Antibes for when you feel you need to get away for a while.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:07, Reply)
Er, not road legal?
and you only hire it, Ferrari keep it for you.....

Get a Veyron, plenty on there.

You mean you can do the binge eating part, but not the forcing yourself to be sick?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:23, Reply)

Try that couple who just wone the Euro Millions £148,000,000
Actually, if you won that much money and told everybody you'd actually done so, you'd probably need to go and buy a desert island just to escape the parade of long lost relatives, old schoolfriends and other hangers on.

So, how is everyone tonight?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:19, Reply)
I have never understood why anyone would agree to any form of publicity if they won.

(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 22:20, Reply)
Exactly.
