You can't all be off getting social lives.
I bought a book today, I'm one page in and had to look up 4 definitions. I don't think its going to go well, I think I'm going to have to find another one. This is why I don't like books with bits bassed ages ago like before WW2.

You got any good book recomendations instead?

Nah, just joking. Alright Gonz?
I'm not sure you'd be that keen on any of the books I like. John Dies at the End is among my favorites though.

Yeah', not bad thanks. The downs are down, but the ups are up and all in all that's alright for me.
I'm into all sorts of books, big range. I donno that one though, I think I've heard the name before though.

The one I'm strugglign with is that Cloud Atlas one, the film looks fucking epic.

Wow, somebody else has read John Dies At The End
Did you know there's a sequel?
(, Fri 7 Sep 2012, 20:54, Reply)
No, I didn't know a single thing about This Book is Full of Spiders (Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It.)
Nor do I regularly check to see if the film has been given a UK release/leaked onto the internet. Nope.

I haven't read 'John dies at the end'
I'm reeeeally looking forward to the film release, I've seen the trailers and it looks brilliant but, it appears no-one has yet decided to release it. Any ideas why that should be?

alright gonz?
I do very much like this - www.robertmccammon.com/novels/swan_song.html

Kind of a random recommendation but the first thing that popped into my head when I thought "favourite book".

One you might like is Bad Monkeys by Matt Ruff. A bizarre sort of matrix like story, very good.

Far too busy playing with illustrator to fanny about reading.
I'm doing an exciting project that is keeping me very busy, and off the streets.

Watch this space for more details. This one right here> <

Also: have you tried the Ladybird reading series?
As I remember, they were very good.

Otherwise, you're a Stephen King fan, aren't you? The Stand is always a good one to read - the full version, not the original. Takes forever, and has that same epic scale the LotR has. With fewer orcs and more bloated corpses.

the dark tower series is pretty enjoyable too
