Actually, no.My waistband hits just below the navel, which is how I've always worn them. My belly doesn't protrude above them, at least not more than an inch or so.
Mom just would rather I be built like Brad Pitt than like Bryan Cranston. And she's in her eighties and getting a bit loopy these days...
