Me TooAyresome road in Middlesbrough seemed particularly susceptible to my light-quenching charms. My best effort was to have a skeptical friend approach a light, which remained lit when he reached it. As soon as I arrive, *pof!*, out it goes.
However, as I'm aware that the paranormal just isn't true, my best guess is that I trigger some sort of motion-detecting emergency light elsewhere which tricks the streetlight sensor or something. It's a bit weird. Doesn't happen to me now I live in the States.
